About Me
Tony started at Complete Video in 1984 having been hired straight from University to help with the transition into the ’Digital Age’. This catapulted him into his long and illustrious career.
He stayed with Complete Video until 1992 as Senior VFX Henry/Harry Editor on Commercials, Pop-Promos and Feature Films, working with the top Agencies and Directors, including Tony Kaye, Matt Forest and Chris Palmer.
Wanting more control over the whole production process he moved to set up Brewers, a freelance Production and Post Production company, where he was able to take on directing roles as well as VFX supervision.
In 1997 with the introduction of Discreet Logic Inferno and Flame he moved to their sister company, Clear Post Production, to concentrate on the ever-increasing demand for VFX editing on all mediums. He was in demand from Directors including Danny Boyle, Vaughan Arnell, Joe Pytka and Daniel Barber.
In 2002 he joined an exciting creative team at Smoke & Mirrors and here he was pivotal in the company growing to what it is today. Again, working with current Directors, such as, Michael Winterbottom, Jorn Haagen, Albert Kadogolian and Jonathan Glazer. For the past five years he has worked on their L’Oreal account, which he was instrumental in winning.
During his career he has enjoyed the role of Shoot VFX Supervisor, both in the UK and Worldwide. He has regularly supervised teams of Compositors and CG artists on large complex jobs.
